Can't browse new volume

just created a new volume on Ubuntu
copied some music folders inside
permissions ok
volume is mounted
no way to see or browse the folders in MPD or MAFA
rescan or update no results
server is the same of the original folders

any idea?

Did you update the music_directory path in your MPD configuration to use the new volume’s path?

I am not an Ubuntu expert. not at all!
I see the volume mounted in Gnome, but Snakeoil must mount the volume too!
i use Snakeoil OS
