swiping left and right on section pages to change between them
swiped being ignored on UI elements that have their own swipe thing
a fairly widespread a thing these days, would be tres handy!

Yes you are right. Will try to solve it.
Thanks.
Check version 3.2.1
thanks very much! I can’t see MAFA on the play store right now, the link from the app info gives a not found error and there’s no search result, would that not be where the beta testing channel would be enabled?
MAFA is no longer available from the Play store.
Download the latest version from the home page and then set the update preferences to include beta versions. See Settings → Update
so I’ve the .1 installed, and all the radio buttons are enabled in the swipe settings
maybe I’m doing the wrong thing, but there is no section change on swiping anywhere on the screen
“pager” refers to the menu that is available in the left of the header, yes? I’ve tried swiping on it, and also just in the header in general, or anywhere else on pages
the semantics of “disable swipe actions in pager” and “enable swipe actions in pager” overlap
from the wording I would expect the latter to appear first, and, from the description, the former sounds like it switches swiping (ignoring from left edge to open the menu) anywhere on a page to action a page/section change, though the title suggests it relates to just the pager area
it seems to me that swiping anywhere on the header (excluding from the very left edge) would be a reasonable setup that is if “pager” just relates to the top left drop-down menu session of the header (and not the swipe from the left edge sidebar menu)
OK. So the added options are specifically for the “inner“ lists in the details view where there are multiple tabs (pager) like albums, artists, and tracks of a Genre.
There’s a conflict between the swipe actions on items of a list and swipe between tabs.
These added options should resolve this conflict by either disabling the swipe actions on list items, or by adding an area above the list that can be used to swipe between tabs.
I probably misunderstood what you meant by:
Can you be more specific, where the swipe problem is? Is it with the android gestures of swiping from the edges of the screen to go back conflicting with pulling the navigation drawer? That can be solved by holding near the left edge for a short while before pulling.
so, like, if I’m on Player, swiping left on the header would slide the page to Playlists, then Albums, etc, and back again
the option to have this cycle/wrap around would seem sensible
imho, a ticky-box list to include/exclude pages in the list of pages swiped through would be cool
(in a wider sense, letting the user also exclude certain pages from the left sidebar menu would be a neat thing, though that’s for another thread)
That’s a different navigation model than what’s currently implemented.
Regarding the navigation drawer items: disabled tags are excluded from the list. You can disable tags in the MPD configuration file or from the server info tags tab.
